The Smartest Technology Wins

For over a century, GMC has been engineering great, hardworking, long-lasting trucks, and everything we’ve learned is on display in the 2011 Sierra 1500. From its strong yet lightweight hydroformed frame rails on up, Sierra 1500 is a rolling showcase of the kind of intelligent and meaningful technologies that the GMC name has come to signify.

Professional Grade Pulling Power

2011 GMC Sierra If you have serious hauling and towing in your future, Sierra's available Max Trailering Package was created with you in mind. The heart of the package is a 6.2L Vortec V8 that pumps out 403 horsepower and a stump-pulling 417 pounds-feet of torque. Also included are a heavy-duty 9.5-inch (241 mm) rear axle, heavy-duty engine oil and transmission cooling systems, a trailering special equipment package with a weight-distributing hitch and an automatic locking rear differential. There's even an available integrated trailer brake controller. Equipped with the Max Trailering Package, Sierra is rated to tow up to 4853 kg (10,700 lb]

Hybrid: Where Capability Meets Responsibility

2011 GMC Sierra Hybrid
Sierra Hybrid performs like the genuine GMC pickup it is, hauling payloads up to 704 kg (1553 lb.) and towing trailers weighing up to 2767 kg (6100 lb.). Yet in city driving, Sierra Hybrid consumes just 10.1 litres of gas every 100 kilometres — less than V6-powered sedans like the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Ford Fusion.** Underlying this feat is some of the most sophisticated hybrid technology available in any vehicle. Components include a 300-volt nickel-metal hydride Energy Storage System (ESS), an advanced Electronically Variable Transmission (EVT) and a regenerative braking system, to name a few. The result is the most advanced full-size pickup on the market today.

Asphalt Is Overrated

2011 GMC Sierra If the point where the pavement ends is just another bump in your journey, Sierra's available All Terrain Package is a must. Essential components include a Z71 off-road suspension, an automatic locking rear differential, extended-travel Rancho® shock absorbers and skid plates to protect your truck's underbody from rocks, debris and the like. Other highlights include specific on/off road tires mounted on chrome-clad aluminum wheels, fog lights, electronic air conditioning and a variety of style upgrades inside and out. The All Terrain Package is available exclusively on Sierra SLE and SLT Extended Cab and Crew Cab 4x4 models
The Best There Is
2011 GMC Sierra Denali
Sierra 1500 Denali offers an unmatched blend of luxury, capability, technology and style. On the outside, Sierra Denali is distinguished by its body-colour front and rear fascias, unique full-chrome honeycomb grille and brilliant 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels. In the hardware department, the highlights include a 6.2-litre Vortec V8 generating 403 horsepower and the surefootedness of the only full-time all-wheel drive system in the class.† Factor in a true luxury-class interior and it's the best pickup you may ever own.

Consumer preferences in large SUVs is constantly changing, and GMC aims to design the Yukon model SUV to fit the ever-changing consumer demands.

GMC Yukon
Since the early 90’s, the GMC Yukon SUV has changed in many ways mostly reflecting these demands that are set by consumers. From it’s original design, the Yukon has changed from a 2-door 4-wheel drive that seated six, to the current model which has an optional 2 or 4-wheel drive and seats up to 9. From a simplistic interior design, all of the way to the current design, the GMC Yukon has seen the use of hundreds of features and will continue to do so as long as there is a demand to SUVs.

What Hasn’t Changed

For the Yukon, there are some aspects that haven’t changed. The vehicle has always maintained plenty of space and balance in comfort, along with it’s “body-on-frame” design. The Yukon, because of it’s design, has always been able to allow off-roading capability and offer a reliable frame for towing. GMC’s development of better V8 engines for the Yukon have allowed it improved acceleration, and constantly provide better trailer ratings for each successive model year.

What Makes It The SUV Of Choice

GMC Yukon

The Yukon is a full-size Sport Utility Vehicle, in addition to it being a vehicle of a very sturdy design. Inside the vehicle is a quiet and smooth ride, and with it comes very impressive handling for a vehicle with an average weight of about 5,500 pounds. The interior also has maintained a modern and sleek design, made of high quality materials that are built to last. The interior also allows many types of seating configurations, seating anywhere from 5 to 9 passengers and allow plenty of cargo space for everyone. Although the GMC provides many features, it all depends on the options that are selected at the time of purchase.
