We don’t know if Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne’s future plans for the upcoming, next generation of the Dodge Viper include the development of a corresponding Alfa Romeo model based on the underpinnings of the muscle car, but famed Italian coach builder Zagato has given the formula a try with its new TZ3 Stradale.

You see, Zagato’s TZ3 Stradale is an Alfa Romeo bodied sports car based on the platform and mechanical hardware of the track-conquering Dodge Viper ACR, which features the same 600HP 8.4-liter V10 engine as the standard Viper SRT-10 along with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a race-spec suspension. All parts of the TZ3 Stradale’s carbon fiber body are new with the cherry topping being the classic Kamm-tail (K-tail) layout.
The TZ3 Stradale is Zagato’s second and final tribute to the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo (1910-2010), which started in 2009 with the presentation of the 8C Competizione-based TZ3 Corsa that won the Villa D'Este Design Concept Award in 2010.
Unlike the TZ3 Corsa, which was a one-off commissioned by Alfa Romeo Zagato collector Martin Kapp, the TZ3 Stradale will be built in a limited number of 9 units with the first example having already being delivered to US Alfa Romeo and Zagato collector (and Saratoga Automobile Museum's board member) Eric King. The TZ3 Stradale No2 and No3 will be delivered in Japan and Europe.

The most desirable urban chic Alfa Romeo MiTo is a great success for clover but suffers from a defect known and recognized, its suspension is both too harsh and too soft after the coatings, which undermined both the roadholding and comfort. Alfa Romeo was aware of the problem because the manufacturer had already made changes, but unconvincing.
Alfa returns once again to the charge, Harald Wester, the new boss of Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Maserati, admitting even want to touch the direction of the city. The MiTo thus receives two valves and dampers inspired by her big sister Giulietta for setting the running gear and the famous suspension.
As for management, it is simply an update of the software, all remaining electrical and therefore technically subject to an artificial feeling of touch away. This revised version of the MiTo has been marketed since March 1.

Undoubtedly the model stole the impression at this year's Geneva was the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept which will go into production by 2012. The Autonews but says that Fiat will not stay in only one issue and so is already in the pipeline and the Abarth version. What can this mean that the roadster version of the 4C simatakia will change and will be sold under the brand names of Abarth (so maybe verify these rumors).
To remind you that the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept is a two-seater sport coupe with four-cylinder TBi 1750 MultiAir turbo engine is mounted in the center and the movement is transmitted to the rear axle through the automatic double-clutch gearbox TCT. It is made from carbon and aluminum, weighing 850 pounds and delivers 200 horses. The 0-100 km / h makes less than 5 seconds. Its length is 4 meters and a wheelbase of 2.4 meters touches. It has a ratio of 4 pounds per horse and wears a sophisticated suspension with MacPherson struts in front and rear weight ratio is 40% front and 60% back.

I know some of our readers will disagree, hell, even some of the folks here at carsandtec will beg to differ, nevertheless, I'm going to say it: I'm utterly disappointed with the styling of Alfa Romeo's 4C Concept, which is slated to enter production in 2012. Alfa had a unique chance to redefine its design language with its first mainstream rear-wheel drive model in decades but instead chose to add the Mickey Mouse - bug face treatment to a body that looks awfully similar to the Lotus Elise.
The specific styling cues may work for the 8C Competizione but if you ask me, the 4C looks just as silly as the MiTo does. Granted; the true essence of the 4C Concept lays under the skin and in particular the mid-engine / rear-wheel drive architecture, but would it be much to ask for some of that styling magic Alfa Romeo has served us over the years?
As always, feel free to agree or disagree in our comments section below.

The Zagato-penned and developed Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa was finally revealed in a world premiere at this past weekend's prestigious Villa D'Este Concours.
As Zagato pointed out, the car is not a design exercise but a one off racing special that was commissioned by German collector Martin Kapp who owns, among other Alfa Romeos, an SZ coda tonda and SZ coda tronca, TZ, and TZ2, Junior Z and S.Z.
Inspired by its 1960s predecessors, the original Alfa TZ and TZ2, the TZ3 Corsa is based on a mono shell carbon fibre tubular chassis, coupled with a tubular frame and a lightweight aluminum body.
Power comes from the Alfa 8c Competizione's 4.2-liter V8 engine that develops 420-horsepower. According to Zagato, the racing car tips the scales at 850kg or 1,874 lbs, and is capable of accelerating from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in under 3.5 seconds while reaching a top speed in excess of 300km/h or 187mph.
